I guess skype plays video advertisements now with sound turned on so this is me on the brink of just switching entirely to Discord.
I legitimately don’t understand why Microsoft won’t just let me give them money to turn adverts off.
I’m not against paying for things, I’m really not. I use Skype every single day and would maybe not happily but certainly willingly pay for Skype to cover advert costs AND YET HERE WE ARE.
Because Microsoft isn’t the most consumer intelligent company out there.
You can block Skype ads via Control Panel in Windows.
1. Open-up the control panel. 2. Open-up “Network & Internet” then “Internet Options”. 3. Go to the “Security” tab. 4. Click on the “Restricted Sites” icon, then the “Sites” button below it. 5. Type https://apps.skype.com/ into the text box and click “Add” 6. Close and apply the changes. 7. Restart Skype & the ads should be blocked.
Any idea when Bronies will be Reacting to the Season 5 finale? You can't just tease us with the ending of the Friendship Games reaction and then make us wait! You even had the Inception horns!! I understand that you are probably quite busy with TLB, but an estimated date of the reaction would be very much appreciated.
Haha, actually it’s a common misconception that TLB affects the release of Bronies React. Actually, TLB is edited in advance to allow for episodes to fill in when gaps happen (or a video like BR is delayed). TLB releases are lined up and ready to go live before I start editing the Reacts, so don’t worry! Just because new episodes are coming out, they’re not holding up any new reacts.
That said, this react began work at a difficult time of the year for a lot of the usual participants (holidays), so I’ve been juggling a lot of different schedules to make for the best product. Editing is now in full swing, even though I am still waiting for a few people, but each react takes a different amount of time for obvious reasons. Generally from the time of heavy editing, it takes about a week to a week and a half. We will see where this one ends up.
