It’s happened! We’ve had our millionth image uploaded to the site. (And, at the same time, quite a few others).

Derpibooru was first launched in 2012, and really kicked off in July of that year. It’s been one hell of a ride. A few years on and a million images in and we’ve also got over 200,000 tags, 4,320,000 comments, 150,000 users and 1,700,000 forum posts.

1 million uploads isn’t really about all the pony we’ve got. Okay, it’s a little bit about that. Really, though, it’s about the amazing community around the site. Thank you all for sharing 1 million images; here’s to the next million.
