//The fate of the Fairly Oddparants is exactly what The Simpsons was warning people about in The Itchy, Scratchy, and Poochie Show. If the quality of a show is falling, adding new characters to the main cast is not an automatic fix. If you polish a turd, it’s still a turd. 

The Fairly Oddparents has had several big events that would have worked perfectly as the series finale:

-Channel Chasers

-The birth of Poof

-Wishology (this is the real big one in my opinion)

-The secret wish

-The first Drake Bell movie

-The third Drake Bell movie

All of these specials had endings that could be seen as perfect closure for the series, but they just keep insisting on making more. The show was great for a long time, but it’s long since run its course.
