She might not remember much about who she is when she wakes up, just like you. This ID would help her remember at least her name, you wish you had an ID it really bothers you that you have no name for yourself.

Which like locker ‘04′ probably contains personal items. Such as clothes, and work related objects… you don’t know much about being a pilot, you’re not sure you could put such objects to use.
