Happy 23rd anniversary Sonic! I’m determined to draw something that’s kind of grand for his birthday, because this year is the year of my rekindled interest in Sonic Franchise after 8 years being dormant. Yes, this year is the year of Sonic for me.

The story behind the making of this piece is long and I don’t want to bore you with it, but it included one upset stomach and hours or replaying Sonic Adventure to unstuck my mind.

All hail King Sonic! —-kidding, he’s not the type who would like to be hailed or being a king at all. But I think he wouldn’t mind being the king of the chilidog palace for a day :)
