I feel like this a lot about my friends.

I have this feeling

Often the person on the other side feels the exact same way. The worry is prompted by a lack of messages, so if both parties feel like potential burdens and don’t say anything, you get a social stalemate. 
And the greatest tragedy of that fact is that usually, both friends want to talk to one another. 

If anyone out there has been waiting for the first message, be that first message.
