Not many of you know this, but I have actually been sewing and patterning for basically my whole life. I just recently started getting back into plushie making to sooth my anxiousness after a rather long hiatus. I’ve also recently began learning how to do cross-stitch 

This is where you all come in. As a sort of impromptu second half of me celebration of one year on tumblr, I decided that, to test some new pony plush patterns that I have been developing, and what better way to test them than to do a little giveaway for all of the awesome people following me! 

The Prizes:

Sadly I don’t have any examples as these prizes will be the first official test run of each respective pattern, but you can see a whole lot of my previous, older plush work here and here! All prizes will be made with cuddle minky and shipped out to anyone living in the continental US (international entries MUST be willing to pay for shipping).

Third Prize - 4″ Itty Bitty Pone 

Fourth Prize - Hand-Embroidered Cutie Mark on Round Embroidery Hoop

How to Enter:

You must be following @jhyllah, new followers welcome! Reblog with a reference of a plush-friendly MLP character (which can be a canon character if you so choose!). One entry per person! Winners will be picked with a randomizer. The contest ends July 25 at 12pm CT.

Due to my technical limitations and lack of equipment, there are some things that I simply can and cannot do with plushes. My limitations are this:

Things I Can’t Do: Braids, gradients of any kind, rainbow manes (these will just cost me way too much tbh), crystal textures, 

Things I Can Try to Do (these may end up having to be simplified in some way): Cutie marks with Gradients, body markings (like freckles and splotches), accessories and clothing, ponytails  

Disclaimer: These prizes will be done on the side in between commissions and blog updates. They could take upwards of 3 months to complete, so please, if you are a winner, be very patient. I am willing to pay for supplies and shipping, I just ask for some patience in return
