As someone with anxiety, FUCK YOU for adding this audio bullshit to Tumblr. Ads? Cool, whatever. Blasting audio while I’m listening to other things? Go fuck yourself. You seem to want to consistently do the things people hate. Do you have meetings where you sit around a desk and ask, “What can we do that our users will hate today?” because literally everyone and their grandma hates audio ads.

I can confirm this is annoying as hell, and I’ve had the Tumblr tab permanently muted. If someone has adblock, either come up with nonintrusive ads that Adblock will allow, or fuck off. This is just as bad as those sites that refuse to let you access them unless you whitelist them.
