SHUT THE FUCK UP. EVERY SINGLE THING WE ACHIEVED OVER EIGHT YEARS AND POSSIBLY MORE IS GOING RIGHT DOWN THE DRAIN. SHUT THE FUCK UP.

But… achieved? Like Obamacare, and 3x and 4x rate hikes that people can’t afford but MUST pay or face the IRS and jail? The tension with Russia and the Middle East? The WARS all over? Drone strikes? The threat of nuclear bombs? Political donations from countries that fund ISIS and terrorism? People in government being above the law and untouchable? Excessive unconstitutional executive orders? Nearly TWENTY TRILLION DOLLARS OF DEBT? The strained race relations within our own borders? The self-imposed segregation? The massive infringements on our freedom of speech? The rampant joblessness? The media working hand in hand with the established government to cover up their lies and corruption, their problems? Are you talking about those “achievements”? I certainly hope they go down the drain!

Or are you talking about social achievements like universal marriage? Because that was enacted by the Supreme Court and cannot be undone. Not to mention the fact that Trump has never expressed any interest whatsoever in undoing anything like that. ALSO not to mention, under our Constitution (which the new president happens to respect, has never called “outdated”, has never claimed needs to be rewritten) does not allow for a single man to take control over such massive sweeping changes by himself. 

Please, I beg you, give me ONE TANGIBLE REASON this is the nightmare you’re imagining it to be. Give me ONE quote of Trump’s that proves he wants to undo all the “achievements” you’re talking about. Show me ONE achievement, and tell me what he said about getting rid of it. Not a general idea or a feeling, but a REAL, TANGIBLE REASON. Just one. PLEASE.

Listen. REALLY listen for a second.

This is not the end of the world. This is just a new start, and it’s a GOOD start, not the freakish chaos that the news has told you it will be. I’ve actually lived through presidential transitions, and this one will be just as peaceful as the last five, as long as people like you just think with your heads for a minute and don’t go out rioting.

Trump is the answer to a problem well over half the country has been anxious about for a long, long time. That problem is corruption and cronyism in DC and our leadership’s refusal to address the problems that real Americans face every day. Bernie Sanders was the other side’s answer to that problem, but Clinton stole that from him, and there is ample proof if you will just open your eyes. We just dodged the biggest, most dangerous, and most corrupt bullet of our lifetimes. You need to be grateful.

Did you see the election results? Did you see how many states Trump won? Did you see how many people voted for him? Did you see how few states Hillary won? Did you see her low results, even in the states that she did win? And do you really think you know something 60 million other people don’t know?

Do you really think that over 60% of the people of this nation are racist, sexist, homophobic, hateful bigots who want to take us back to the 1800s? Do you REALLY? Because it’s not true, and that’s actually pretty easy to demonstrate. Those of us who are able to think for ourselves listened to TRUMP HIMSELF and not what the Clinton-sponsored media said about him, and we realized that he is a good candidate who wants to help this country and ALL her citizens. He is not corrupt. He is not sexist. He is not a bigot. He is not racist. He does not want to deport all immigrants. He does not want to make being gay illegal. I don’t know where you people get that shit from, either.

People didn’t vote for Trump in such massive numbers because most of America is closet bigots. We didn’t vote for Trump because we want to undo good changes and go back to the stone age. We voted for Trump because we are tired of the same problems with foreign relations, wars, terrorist threats, a fucked up economy, unnecessary regulations making it too hard for Americans to own a business, and all the other BAD THINGS that he wants to work to change. We voted for him because we know that voting for the same old politicians who make the same old promises just perpetuates the same old problems.

Go and listen to JUST ONE of your new president’s speeches. JUST ONE. Here, I’ll even link you one: WATCH THIS. Listen to it for yourself and think about it with your own thoughts, not anybody else’s. I promise it will calm you down, and you’ll see that this is not the apocalypse that Clinton and her friends promised you. It’s all going to be fine, and four years from now, you’ll look back on this moment and on your silly freakout and realize you had nothing to worry about.

You don’t have anything to gain by being angry about the election. It happened. It’s over. Your only options now are to accept it, try to understand it, and come to terms with it; or to steam and be angry and throw a fit and hurt yourself and riot and get in trouble; or to move out of the country. At this point, I can only recommend that you try to figure out the real reasons that Trump won the election – and, most importantly, why Hillary Clinton did not win.

I beg you to look into Trump for yourself and formulate your own opinions on his plans, stances, and policies. I beg you not to take what the media says at face value but to instead listen for yourself. It’s been clearly proven that this election was rigged and unfair from the start, since Clinton is in bed with, and working VERY closely with - almost all of US journalism and has been for decades, and that they have been working together to get exactly this reaction out of you and thousands of other people, right now.

It’s all going to be FINE. I’m certain that you will realize soon that Trump is not at all who you were made to believe he is, that his policies are not at all what you were made to believe they are, and that you probably actually align fairly closely with the things that he says and believes, once you hear him express them for himself rather than through the antagonistic filter of the media.
