I didn’t serve so you could just piss on each other and cut each other out of your lives because someone voted for someone else. I served for your fucking RIGHT to vote! 

My fucking friend is dead for your right to vote! For your right to have and voice differing opinions! How fucking dare you let that come between you and your friends!

I am surrounded by people with differing political opinions and I get along with all of them, know why? I fucking accept that people will be different! It’s part of what makes the world a beautiful and diverse place! People will always be different, people will always have opinions that clash! But to cut a friend out of your life because they support someone else? 

It baffles me. I have plenty of dear friends who support people who want my way of life gone, and I accept that. It is an inevitability of life, but they are still my friends. They still have SO MANY redeeming qualities that make them worthy of being my friends!

I know I will not agree with every opinion out there. But this is my country, and I will defend to the death your right to have and voice your opinion, even if it’s different from mine.
