Since Donald Trump became President-Elect Trump, I’ve had 14 LGBT MEN AND WOMEN come to me asking what the next step is. Not their elected officials. Not their local friends. Me. They’ve asked to move in with me so I can defend them.

This is a bad situation for the LGBT Community. Transmen and Transwomen from all across the country; from California to Tennesee, Ohio to North Carolina, have all come directly to me and said “I will sell everything I have and drive to New Hampshire if it means you’ll defend me the way I know you’ll defend yourself.” And I want to fucking do it for every single one of them. But I live in a fucking two bedroom apartment. I could buy land, but it’s $18,000 I don’t have. And even then, at bare minimum, I’d need to buy overstock FEMA emergency trailers to house these people.

But I know this is fucking crazy. Should I save up and literally construct a personal LGBT Sanctuary on my own dime? Should I focus on me and my safety, and ignore everything else? Seriously. What in the fuck do I do when a literal PLATOON OF LGBT PEOPLE comes directly to me and says “Okay, you’re the one we’re going to turn to for answers now”.
