I don’t think anyone realizes how freaking much I love this cartoon
Like it was just really weird, and it broke the 4th wall in pretty much every episode. And there’s so much to the characters. I didn’t really like Ed Edd N Eddy when I was little, I’d just watch it waiting for whatever other cartoon to come on, but now as I’ve been rewatching it I am so utterly obsessed with it and I have all these headcanons and emotions.
Remember the one that was like a weird dream sequence and they removed Jimmy’s outline, causing him to turn into a puddle of wet paint?
THAT WAS THE BEST ONE
The wrestling one and the infamous Jimmy’s outline stood out the most.
And let’s not forget this show has the most satisfying conclusion ever
What I love about this show is how it manages to have bad things happen to the main characters all the time but it doesn’t feel too mean-spirited, even in episodes where they don’t deserve being injured or hurt. In many cases they kind of deserve it, but since everything is okay in the next episode it doesn’t feel too bad. There’s still a lot of funny moments and witty lines. The characters are all well written and the Eds are really likeable.
