“We don’t have to retrain [police]. We gotta let them be held accountable for their actions.” -Ronald Lanier (x) | follow @the-movemnt

Where’s all the “Blue Lives Matter” people now?!?!
…Or does that only apply when the victims are White?
…Or does that only matter if the offenders aren’t also cops?
Right here! They were looking for someone. He fit the discription. Guarantee he didn’t cooperate. They have a job to do. Find and take down criminals. Criminals who lie “you got the wrong guy”. I’ll admit it sounds a little extreme for a shop lifter but I’m gonna guess with a high amount of certainty that he did something that he wasn’t asked to do. And being a former “officer” he should have known to listen.
So a guy is just buying his groceries. He’s suddenly told from out of the blue that he’s under arrest for a crime he didn’t commit. The guy reacts as any normal human being would, questioning what the hell is going on. Guy gets beaten up and somehow it’s HIS fault?
Tell me, if a group of officers tried to arrest you on the spot for something you did not do, would you react as if someone just asked you to move out of the way on the sidewalk so they could continue walking? That you wouldn’t at least ask for some clarification for what the hell is going on? That you would be 100% calm and collected?
And what exactly constitutes to you as “Not Cooperating”? It sure as hell doesn’t seem to have a clear definition among our police force. One officer may not get aggressive until someone else does, another may as soon as someone asks why they are being arrested.
