Big thanks to an anon for letting us know about this article on Polygon - it’s an excerpt from the 25th anniversary art book slated to come out in May, talking about the redesign Sonic got for Sonic Adventure.
It has commentary from Takashi Iizuka, Yuji Uekawa, and Kazuyuki Hoshino on the aesthetic, functionality, and marketing choices that went into the design. It’s super cool, and extremely interesting to read about!
