Unleashed had such great visuals that honestly I feel like it surpasses some games today. That's not to knock them down or rag on them, but the game has RIDICULOUSLY good lighting and I'm a sucker for that sort of stuff.

boy i feel that!!! mostly in regards to the cutscenes. the gameplay graphics in generations are about equal and forces looks promising to look even better, but even the ingame cutscenes look great for 2008 and the cg cutscenes are phenomenal (you havent lived until youve seen the cg cutscene with dark gaia on a nice large tv. its honestly stunning)

i hope forces has cg cutscenes similar in quality (or better!) to the ones found in unleashed… the ones weve seen so far (i think theyre cg, i may be wrong and they could just be really nice looking in game cutscenes) look good but i still feel that unleashed looks better, and im hoping that sonic team is just saving the really good looking ones for release
