Guys seriously. This site got called out on Achievement Hunters.

Artists, like myself, charge as much as we do for art because it’s more then just drawing a picture. We need money for supplies, money for the pencils and paints, or the helmets and fabric.

We don’t charge as much as we do to be assholes, we do it because if we didn’t we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.

👆👆👆Honestly this is so true. And it sucks.

I’m lucky to get a full price commission once every Two weeks if I’m lucky and it’s Literally how I pay my bills. A friend of mine has AMAZING skill and every time they post their prices, some asshole complains that it’s too much

If it’s too much then make your own art. Buy the supplies. Learn the skills. Put in the time. THEN complain about the price.

And don’t forget: it’s always okay, if a price is out of your reach at the moment, to reply to the quote with “thanks for the info! It’s not a bad price but it’s not a great one for my budget right now, so this go-round I’ll leave that slot for someone else, but when I’m in better funds in the future I’d love to commission you!” Nobody is going to be mad if you’re polite.

If this man wasn’t already married, I would married him on the fucking spot.
