I’d honestly forgotten about some of these.

2005: Comcast blocking p2p services; this directly impacted me and a hell of a lot of gamers. While the block was meant to stop piracy over bittorrent, not all torrents are illegal and several MMOs were using torrents for their updates. There was a few weeks where the game I was into (City of Heroes or WoW, I can’t recall) was literally unplayable because Comcast was blocking the updates.
