lil-mizz-jay:

We just hit 1,000,000 people signing a petition to save Net Neutrality.

Let that sink in for a bit.

1,000,000 people.

And who told them to sign it?

Their Facebook friends, Tumblrs they’re following, maybe a YouTube channel they follow, maybe a talk-show host?

Now imagine, just for a second

If a corporation had said something

Or a famous music or movie star

If they’d been like “Yo we support Net Neutrality dawg word up”

Could you imagine how many more than 1,000,000 signatures that petition would get?

If Lady Gaga, who can get 1 billion views on YouTube faster than any other human being alive, said “Hey, Net Neutrality is a really good thing, go sign a petition to fight for it”

Or if McDonald’s had Michael Jordan go “If you’re thinking Net Neutrality is a bad thing, stop it. Get some help.”

Like man, such a small effortless thing they could potentially do

And it’d create a ceaseless avalanche of freedom fighters

Fighting for internet rights n shit

This post doesn’t really have a purpose I’m just thinking out loud

And then typing what I say out loud into a Tumblr post

But I’m not really saying it out loud I’m just

Thinking out
