If you’re talking to someone online, be 100% sure they are who they say they are. It’s incredibly easy to use the same icon and almost identical name as someone else, then just fake it.

In any case, be exceedingly careful of sharing private information with anyone online. At any point you’re asked for or want to divulge any sort of personal information, double and triple-check that you trust the person you’re speaking to, and that they are, actually, who they say they are. If in any doubt, just nope out.
