I love how completely dark and ominous the transition from Splatoon to SSB was.
The way it goes from an upbeat fun vibe to being suddenly engulfed in darkness.. the emptiness of it all.. the characters’ faces veiled from the light.. illuminated only by the intensity of the hellfire standing in front of the inklings staring in awe. It’s so dramatic. Nintendo didn’t have to go this hard.
