This guy is talking about the Apu controversy on The Simpsons. For those of you who don’t know, there were some criticisms about how the character, Apu was portrayed as a stereotypical racist character that can be considered offensive to people of certain color. Only recently have the creators of The Simpsons openly addressed that controversy. Here’s a link that talks more about it: https://youtu.be/p_z76E2xdRg

The reason as to why I’m sharing this is because I find it to be similar to certain drama in the brony community, that I’m sure plenty of you are familiar with. This warning is said to appear right before an old Looney Tunes cartoon, because of the racist stereotypical characteristics certain characters in the show may portray as. It’s acknowledging the content that can be considered offensive, and addresses why it’s better to leave the original cartoon be, as opposed to editing it to meet today’s standards.

A good editorial also addresses this bullshit.
