The whole piece itself just screams at me with symbolism and metaphors that I really don’t expect anyone else to actually see. from the looks its just a horse cutting their head off with a blade while earing a collar and chain. but it goes deeper then that.
The whole piece itself is a representation of “Breaking loyalties” In which case a collar tends to represent ownership of an individual or “pet” if you want to call it. But you can see much more then just one tag on it representing multiple “owners” that they feel loyalty and dedication to. But as time goes by more and more tags just keep getting added on as some start to fall off and even break, chip, even rust, representing the bad relations and friendships that they had encountered, the ones that hurt the most tend to stay on even if broken rather then fall off. as the time goes by the tags get much much heavier and the chain feels almost impossible to pull. and sometimes it feels like their only way out would be to cut it all off, losing their head (both figuratively and literaly) in the process, in my case, with a palette knife, because art has by far been the easiest way for me to escape.
extremely dark- but honestly I havn’t done vent art in close to…. 2 years now? about time I drew something to help ease my mind.

I'm glad you're ok (vent art is good to do once in a while) was there any particular inspiration behind this last piece? Or just something fresh in your mind?
