Seriously though, this movie is as sweet and charming as it is brutal.

It’s like if someone took one of those old fairy tails and decided to ground it in reality, but since it’s so fantastical both tones combined rather well! Also the acting is superb, so much talent, especially from Sally Hawkins who manages to convey every emotion possible (almost) without saying a single word.

If you like your fantasy movies with a good dose of realism, definitely check out this one. You won’t regret it.

And now, if you excuse me, I should get a towel. Or two. And a mop. The bathroom is a mess. I think we might’ve gone too far in a few places.
