Today i was at gamestop picking something up for my pokemon tcg stuff and a ~9 year old boy behind me looked at his father and said : “Look dad its fortnite! Woah! This is like the best game! See? That one is the (i forgot the name) skin! That one is suuuper good!”

And his dad, in his late 30’s if i had to guess from looks, sighted very audibly and said “I know you like it, but please - PLEASE - leave me alone with it, you have been talking about nothing else for the entire trip and its making us (i think his mom was with them) really exhausted. Theres other games for kids you know?”

The kid :“i dont like those cuz (german youtuber) doesnt play those! And it has guns!”

As i put my stuff in my backpack and left i could see the defeat and annoyance in this mans face and i just kinda nodded slighty in his way (he didnt see it i think) and left. I felt so sorry for this guy. Poor man.
