1. If you can’t show a gay couple in your show, then don’t promise the fans they’ll get to see one.

2. If you think a kids’ show is allowed to depict character deaths and war, but two men being in love is what would make it inappropriate for kids, then I seriously question your morals. If you think Adam dying is more child-friendly than Shiro and Adam reuiniting, I. seriously. question. your. morals.

3. Gay kids exist. Kids with gay parents exist. Showing them that people like them/their parents always die is traumatizing and shame-inducing, and you should not be defending it.

4. Steven Universe is a kids’ show that exists and just devoted multiple episodes to a lesbian wedding. Your excuses are bullshit.
