An artist I used to enjoy and look up to known as Jailbird (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/jailbird/) Is under fire for scamming over 200 people out of money for commissions she isnt completing. Some have been waiting as long as 6 years for their artwork or a refund.

This is obviously a very extreme case of art scamming, but im bringing this to your attention to remind my fellow artist to PLEASE DO YOUR ART COMMISSIONS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Our communities are built on trust between artists and our fans and patrons and when one of us fails its a notch in the belt for ALL OF US. It makes people afraid to trust those of us who actually DO make sure to do our work and not to mention anyone losing money is a serious issue.

If you don’t have the time to do the work don’t take on the work. If something happens that prevents you from working let your commissioners know ASAP. Be organized and attentive.

Please please PLEASE be a good commission artist, for your sake, for your customers sake and for the sake of your fellow artist.
