As many of you know, Tumblr is closing blog that may have NSFW content.

Tumblr always had and still have a big issue of having child porn blogs and other porn bots blogs that have overrun this site. While many have brought this issue to Tumblr staff or support many times. They have done nothing.

Now Apple App Store and Google Play Store have remove the Tumblr app due to the porn issues and specifically the evil monsters that post child porn online here on tumblr. This is not either Apple or Google’s fault and I actually appreciate their decisions from removing Tumblr from their stores snice Tumblr had no interest in fixing its problems.

Many of you should know how this affects artist and other content creators that may have some NSFW content mixed with SFW content but also they should not be targeted as their NSFW content are people or characters 18 year of age or above the age of 18. But I am not going to talk about that and I will only advice anyone affected to contact Tumblr support to get their blog back.

What I want to say to Tumblr is how could you? No website should have child porn. It is your duty, as an website administrator to take down illegal content. There no ‘ifs’ there are no ‘buts’. You should be taking them down. Not because Apple or Google took away your apps. Not because someone reported it. but because it is the law. 

As an child abuse survivor myself, I am truly ashamed to be part of tumblr. Which is why I will going on hiatus till 1 December 2018. During that time I will be deciding if I should continue on Tumblr or not.
