Greetings, fans of Ask Pun. Since February of 2012 Ask Pun has been proud to participate in the Tumblr ponyscape. With the impending exodus of content creators, this seems like a good time to wrap up production of the comic. Here’s what you can expect.

1.       Ask Pun currently has comics buffered out until April 2019. We will continue to post 3/week until then.

2.       We have begun work on a final story arc that will wrap everything up and give Ask Pun a meaningful conclusion. This will publish once we’ve exhausted our buffer of comics.

3.       Estimated last comic will be sometime in July or August.

We evaluated options for moving the comic to another venue. The evaluation of the project manager was that Tumblr provided a unique environment where the wildly inconsistent tone of Ask Pun comics, which could go from grimdark to slapstick between days, only really “worked’ on Tumblr.

Seven years is one heck of a run for an online webcomic whose original scope was “Single-panel sketch-quality comic, once a week for two years.” So until the lights go out, stay tuned for more Ask Pun!
