Another one? AGAIN? Already? Yes it’s the November postcard/wallpaper dealy! I was on time this time, would you look at that. This one is… a little more special to me than the others though.

Six years ago today, on the 13th of November, I decided on basically a whim to start a pony blog. That blog was Ask Firestarter Spitfire, and it, and the things that led from it, have taken over my life. This blog has, no joke, caused me to change career tracks entirely. It’s pushed me to develop skills that otherwise I’d have never even touched. But more important than that, it’s reached out to people and really affected them. It’s amazing and quite humbling some of the stories I hear about readers’ experiences with my work, and Spitfire more than anything else. I’m immensely grateful to have had that opportunity and to play that role for some people, and I can only hope that I keep doing it.

Spitfire’s story is basically done. It has been for like three years now, but I can’t seem to let her go. Even if it’s just goofing around, I’ll probably still be making posts on this blog for quite a while to come. If you’ve been around since the beginning thanks for sticking with me, and if you’re only just showing up now, welcome! Sorry about the mess. I’m gonna be clearing some things up soon hopefully.
