~Glade of Dreams Snowglobe Collection 2018~

My original plans for a Rayman Christmas picture were thwarted by the idea being too complicated to get done in time…sooo I changed up the idea to make something a little different.  Rayman themed snowglobes!

Yes, these hand crafted, traditional snowglobes are just what the family needs to make their christmas season truly magical.  Featuring such classics as ‘Bell Ringer’, ‘Mistletoe’, ‘Snowman’, ‘Gingerbread’ and ‘Tennenbaum’ (featured above) these timeless pieces are sure to inspire the holiday cheer in all who behold them.  

I may have to make more of these for next year.  Really make a full collection which can be added to :D

One of my favorite video games of all time is Rayman 2: The Great Escape and yet I barely draw any fanart for this game. I decided to fix that just a little bit today by drawing my favorite part of that game; when Rayman has to deal with the rather surly Guardian of the Cave of Bad Dreams, who we learn in a later game’s instruction manual that he once fought Rayman as the First Bad Dream.
I imagine him playing Guardian is punishment from Polokus for trying to take over the Glade of Dreams and Jano is more than a little grouchy about the whole arrangement…

Heh, I know I have a big ol’ wall of crazy in my head for a few characters too…

 But yeah, I think Rayman definitely has a chance. Pretty sure he was decently requested in the smash ballot (which seems to be a HUGE deciding factor this time around), he had a trophy in Smash WiiU, and the whole “Mario Rabbids” thing makes me think Ubisoft and Nintendo are on good terms. Plus the dude would fit right into the world of Smash.
